If you are planning on visiting us soon, please remember to book a time-slot in advance.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01793 466626.
Please book your visit through our Ticket Information page.
Tickets are currently available up to three weeks in advance.
When booking your tickets online, you’ll need to select a date and arrival time for your visit, then add the number of tickets you would like to your basket. You will then have the opportunity to add a STEAM guidebook or one of our new children’s activity books to your order.
Please be aware that STEAM has a popular schools programme and there may be organised visits to the Museum on weekdays during school term-time. Most schools visit us between 10am and 2pm.
You can arrive any time during your timeslot and once you are in the Museum you are welcome to stay as long as you like until closing time.
If you are a STEAM Season Ticket holder or a Friend of Swindon Railway Museum, there is no charge to pre-book your timed slot. Please ensure that you select the Season Ticket or Friend option on the online ticketing website.
On the day of your visit, please bring your Season Ticket with you, along with your booking confirmation. A member of our friendly Front of House Team will ask to see your card on arrival.
On the day of your visit, arrive during the timeslot you have booked.
Once you are inside the STEAM building, please show your booking confirmation to our friendly staff on the Front Desk. You can either print this off or show the confirmation on your phone.
