February 2024 Object of the Month

This month’s Object of the Month is in celebration of National Apprentice Week!

The British Rail Apprentice Training School, was based in Swindon between 1962 to 1984. Every year they took around 120 young people to train them and give them practical and theoretical engineering skills.

The STEAM collection has many amazing pieces of work produced by apprentices.
