Please note the museum will be closed 5-11 January for essential maintenance. (Our Wedding Show on 11 January is not affected by the closure).

STEAM has a popular schools programme and there may be organised visits to the Museum every weekday during school term-time. Most schools visit us between 10am and 2pm.

The Café offers a selection of hot and cold drinks, plus delicious homemade cakes and sandwiches.
Museum admission is not required to visit the café (but of course highly recommended!)
