Description of Service

Each year from mid-October through to April, the StreetSmart team provides a range of specific road services for the colder winter months. We simply call these ‘Winter Services’.

Because of the unpredictability of the weather during the winter months, many of our operational staff are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is to be able to cope with seasonal adverse conditions and to be able to respond to potential problems at very short notice, particularly where there is a risk to public safety.

How to Report a Problem

If you consider the issue an emergency or potential hazard, please call Swindon Direct on 01793 445501 (Monday to Friday 8.00am-8.00pm, Saturday 9.00am-1.00pm) or on 01793 466453 at all other times.
