Six Book Challenge

Six Book Challenge

The Six Book Challenge has now ended for 2010 with 163 participants having taken part across the borough and 13,500 nationally.

Swindon Libraries will be taking part in the Six Book Challenge next year and would like to build on the success of the previous three years by getting even more people to take part.

The Six Book Challenge invites less confident readers to read six books and record their reading in a diary. There are goodies to pick up when you return your books and get your diaries stamped - including pens, keyrings and vouchers for free DVD rentals. For those that complete the Challenge there’s also the chance to win even better prizes such as book tokens and entry into a national prize draw.
It is a national initiative run by the Reading Agency and is supported by an official website:
www.sixbookchallenge.org.uk

If you want to get your college, workplace or organisation involved for 2011’s challenge as a partner to Swindon Libraries please get in touch with me.

If you want to take up the Challenge yourself watch this space or look out for more information in the library closer to 2011.
