Quick Search the Whole Catalogue
The catalogue contains details of the books, audioboks, CDs, DVDs, and other items that are held in Swindon's libraries.
Please note that Fastbacks and FastFilms collections are not available for reservation.
Interlibrary loans
Items not held in our catalogue may be requested, please ask staff at any library. Any items that are obtained from other libraries through the interlibrary loans service will incur an additional charge, see Fees and Charges for further details.
This service only covers books, play sets and music scores, it is not available for Sound and Vision items.
Accessing Your Library Account
If you are a library member, you can use the "Personal settings" button to view your personal details such as any loans or reservations you have. You can place reservations on items held in the libraries and renew any books provided they are not more than 3 weeks overdue. Please note: if you use AOL as your Internet service provider, do not use the AOL version of Internet Explorer, as this seems to prevent the logging in process. Use any normal browser instead.
You can also change your pincode - if you do not have a pincode yet, please ask library staff for one. Once you have logged in using the old pincode, you can change it to any combination of at least four, and no more than eight, letters (in capitals) and numbers.
Users may also update their personal details such as phone number, mobile phone and email address. Go to "My personal information", then select the "Change contact details". You can update any fields that have a white background. Adding your email address will activate email notices for overdues and reservations. It is not possible to change your address online as this needs to be updated by staff in a library.
