Swindon News Magazine

Your Council, Your News

Packed full of interesting articles and important information, the council magazine, Swindon News is our way of connecting directly with you.

Swindon News aims to:

  1. Make it easier to access council services
  2. let local people know how the council is performing.

Swindon News also brings you a list of events and activities for all the family. These are organised by Swindon Borough Council or its partner organisations. The magazine has plenty of ideas for things to do, from art exhibitions and suggestions for days and evenings out, to activities and concerts.

Advertise

The magazine is a perfect opportunity to target the people of Swindon directly, as it’s the only publication distributed free of charge to 82,000 homes throughout the borough. A further 3,000 copies of the magazine are available from all libraries, sports centres and council-owned buildings. Testimonials

Milbrooke Construction Ltd

Milbrooke Construction Ltd commenced advertising with Swindon News December 2009, with a regular monthly full back page.

Since commencing this advertising campaign we have recognised a substantial market awareness of the company with customers against previous campaigns undertaken.

Without doubt the market awareness and enquiries received by Milbrooke construction ltd has increased to a considerable level since the campaign with Swindon News commenced.

Working with the team at Swindon news has equally been a hassle free process, they are very helpful and address all queries or enquires with speed and efficiency, a pleasure to work with them.

Milbrooke have an agreement for a 12 month period since last December 09 and would like to continue their support in the forthcoming year.

Drove Veterinary Hospital

"I have been amazed at how many people have said they have seen us in the ‘Book that comes through their door from the council’ and I know it can only be Swindon News, proving that £ for £ it is a very economical, but professional way of reaching Swindon Wide".

Jane Carter, for and on behalf of Drove Veterinary Hospital
