Local residents have alerted us to a scam in which bogus callers have been trying to obtain bank details by claiming they're from our Council Tax office.
We will never contact you in this way to ask for this sort of information.

You can now pay your council tax using Swindon Borough Council's secure online payments system.
If you have any questions regarding council tax payments please e-mail us at swindon.counciltax@secure.capita.co.uk.
In order to pay your council tax online you will need to know your Council Tax Account Number. This can be found on the top right of your council tax bill.
