Meet the Railway Workers - Saturday 18 Dec, 10.00 am - 4.00 pm
Take a step into the fascinating world of the engine drivers, firemen and railway workers who worked on the locomotives and in Swindon Works. This is a great fun day out for all the family and children will love to 'have a go' at the controls as they meet real engine drivers and former GWR workers, who will show them how the locos worked. There is so much to see, learn and do for all ages, including changing the signals in an authentic Signal Box and taking a ride on the train simulator. Young children will love the children’s play areas with play tables and interactive wooden toys. Normal admission applies.
Admission: adults £6.40; children 5 -16 and concessions £4.25; family tickets £17.00 (2 adults and 2 children) and £20.20 (2 adults and 3 children).
