Meet the Railway Workers

Every Other Saturday

Take a real step back in time as you meet engine drivers, firemen and railway workers who worked on the locomotives and in Swindon Works.

The former GWR workers will show you how the locos worked and bring stories of the steam age to life.

You'll also be invited to 'climb aboard' our famous steam locomotives No. 4073 'Caerphilly Castle' and No. 4003 'Lode Star'. This is all part of the great steam railway experience!

Unsurprisingly, these events are popular with all ages, whether you are one or one hundred!
