The force will soon be with the people of Swindon as STEAM rolls out its brand new Sci-Fi at STEAM Exhibition on 3 March.
Come to the Grand Opening Weekend on Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 March and you will get to see some of the actors from the original Star Wars movies! Plus there will be the chance to meet and have your photograph taken with Spiderman, Chewbacca, the Iron Man and more.
Designed to appeal to both children and adults, special displays will include original costumes and props from the Star Wars, Terminator, Gremlins and Iron Man series, plus many life-sized character figures. Superheroes will also be putting in appearances, from Spiderman and Power Rangers, to Star Trek and Harry Potter.
The exhibition is the first of its kind in Swindon and is a joint venture between STEAM and Swindon based Skywalker Promotions.
Luke Skywalker who owns Skywalker Promotions said: "We cannot wait to show this vast collection, made up from original items and memorabilia. STEAM is the perfect venue for this amazing show. There are so many surprises to be revealed at the exhibition and we are expecting sci-fi fans from all points of the compass to attend. We've all been waiting for an event like this and we are so excited that it is now on its way!"
Sci-fi enthusiasts and newcomers alike will be fascinated, and sometimes terrified, at the items on display at this exclusive event!
The Sci-Fi at STEAM Exhibition will run until 20 May and will take place in STEAM's Hawksworth Hall. Opening times are 10.00 am - 5.00 pm with the last admission at 4.30 pm. Please note that special admission prices apply and will not include entry into the main exhibition area at STEAM. Combined admission tickets to include entry to STEAM are available.

Special admission prices: £4.00 children 3-16 yrs; £5.00 adults and seniors and £16.00 for a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) or £20.00 for 2 adults and 3 children. Under 3s go free. Please see below for advance ticket information.
