How Adult Social Care Can Help

One of the overall aims of Adult Social Care is to support adults to live at home as independently and safely as possible. This includes support for carers.

Adult Social Care recognises the essential role of carers in supporting adults living in the local community.

In developing and providing support and services for carers, Adult Social Care works closely with partner organisations.

These include:

  • Swindon and Marlborough Trust
  • Swindon Primary Care Trust
  • Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust
  • Swindon Carers Centre
