Where:

Tick-tock, Tick-tock, come and join our special 'Times They Are A Changin’ sessions on Thursday 2 June, find out how clock devices have changed throughout history and even get to make your own sundial to take home!

Take time to explore the glamour of the Great Western Railway as you experience the Royal Carriage, Buffet Car and of course the magnificent locomotives we have on display, including the legendary King George V, City of Truro and Caerphilly Castle.

There’s plenty of action and adventure to be had – you can be an engine driver and a signalman – as you travel through our interactive displays which include our unique 'working' Signal Box and steam train simulator.

You’ll also have the chance to Meet the Railway Workers at our fortnightly event where you get to climb aboard Caerphilly Castle, handle historic GWR artefacts and learn a whole bunch of fun facts!

A visit to STEAM's own Seaside Pier, with a selection of working vintage slot machines, completes your round trip.

Make your own adventure or follow one of our family trails available from the Ticket Desk. See below for more details of our trails and special activities.

All you need is your own imagination!
