Arts Award

Arts Award logoCreate Studios is supporting young people successfully through their Arts Award.

The Arts Award is a nationally-recognized qualification for young people aged 11-25 which supports them in becoming artists and arts leaders. As a personal learning programme, it develops and assesses skills including creativity, communications, planning and teamwork.

Congratulations to Philip Brownless who passed his Silver Arts Award in Animation with us this January! There's a small administration charge to enrol and arts award training is offered with a mentor for £175, which can be spread over a long period until the award is complete. If the training is built into an existing project Create has received funding for, then the training can be free.

For more information or to discuss your requirements please contact Marilyn Fitzgerald, Production Manager on 01793 465333 or email mfitzgerald2@swindon.gov.uk

Arts Award Welcome Centre

Create is pleased to announce it has been chosen as an Arts Award Welcome Centre, delivering up to Silver level. As a Welcome Centre we offer young people expertise, information, opportunities or simply access to arts and media professionals by volunteering with us.
