National Gardens Scheme Walled Garden Open for Charity on 1 August 11am to 5pm. Lydiard Park's beautiful 18th century walled garden will be open as part of the National Garden Scheme. Special entry applies £2.50 adult, £2 senior and £1 child - all proceeds will be donated to the NGS charities, which include Macmillan Cancer Support, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Cross Roads Care and Help the Hospices. Plant a Pot on 3 August, 12 noon to 3pm at Lydiard Park. A drop in craft session for children to have fun by decorating a flower pot, then planting it up with seeds from the walled garden. £3 per child - children must be accompanied by an adult.
